Congratulations to the winners in the 2019 LaSill Optimist Essay Contest. Taking first place was junior Tre Whalen. Second went to junior Nathaniel Bowman, and tied for third were junior Kiari Gosha and sophomore Liz Vazquez Rivera. The theme was "Is Optimism the Key to Achieving the Dreams You iMagine?" The students and their parents will be honored at a supper at Asian Buffet on 12 December. The students will receive cash awards.
