The Eisenhower High School tennis teams missed the memo about easing into their new spring schedule. They kicked off the 2023 season with a great performance at the JC Perkins Tournament in Duncan on March 1.
On the boy’s side of the bracket, the team finished in third place overall. They were led by James Lopez, who won third place in the No. 2 singles bracket.
The Lady Eagles were led by Emma Eschler and Jacey Dickson, who placed second in the No. 2 doubles bracket. Brooke Strickland and Emily McRae competed in the No. 1 doubles and ended up winning the consolation side of the bracket.
Congratulations to all of the Eagle tennis program. We can’t wait to see more of this success throughout the spring.
