EHS Soccer

The 2023 Eisenhower High School boys’ soccer team provided their fans with a lot of exciting moments during the year, including a penalty kick win over MacArthur High School to win their third-straight City Championship and a trip to the State Tournament.

Most of their success can be attributed to their strong senior class. Recently, seven of those players were awarded for their hard work by signing to continue their academic and athletic careers at the college level.

The Eagles had a few of their seniors sign at the NCAA Division I level. Striker Hayden Fogel inked his name to play at the University of Charleston in West Virginia. Keeper Ryder Claborn will be the goalie of the future at Oral Roberts in Tulsa. Both Fogel and Claborn were All-State players as seniors.

Eisenhower’s third All-State selection and captain Aldo Hernandez was one of four Eagles that will remain together in college when they attend Southwestern Christian College, a NAIA school in Bethany. Also joining remaining Eagles with Hernandez are All-District defender Aaron Bear, Nicolas Ballard, and Kody Guilbeaux.

The seventh signee for the Eagles, striker Keagan Booker, is headed to a Division III powerhouse, the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor. Booker was another All-District selection for EHS.

Eisenhower finished the season with a 5-2 district record and entered the playoffs as a third-place finisher. They faced Southeast in the first round of the playoffs, but could not pull off the victory.
